Attention to detail
Proofreading in context and functional testing are essential steps in any localization project, whether involving documents, software, or Internet or multimedia content.
Errors or inaccuracies that seemed insignificant at an earlier stage may jeopardize the proper operation or use of the finished product. This can have significant financial consequences.
Localization, a complex process
All standardized localization cycles involve several specialized operations that are essential to the quality of the finished product.
Procedures for testing and validation in context, after re-engineering and layout for example, are a crucial step requiring real expertise.
Quality assurance at every step
We perform quality control checks at each stage of the project, from proofreading up to the final check. With the extensive use of ad hoc tools, we control the risks associated with direct translation in the native file or source code.
Finally, we recommend establishing validation procedures to be carried out by experts in the target countries, whom we support with our know-how.

Layout and graphic design in all formats
Translating technical documents—whether product manuals or product marketing brochures—often requires the reproduction, or even creation, of more or less complex formatting and layouts.
Other content, such as websites or online help, requires adaptation of the code tags that determine the formatting. As for multimedia content, it often requires graphic design work. Finally, illustrations such as diagrams, images, and screenshots often accompany the content and must also be translated or adapted.
Providing a final result that is true to the original
We have the technical and linguistic capacity to manage all these aspects and work with all common file formats:
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, etc.)
- Professional DTP formats (Adobe InDesign, Adobe Framemaker, QuarkXPress, etc.)
- Image files (TIF, JPG, EPS, etc.)
- CAD files (DWG, etc.)
- Online help systems (XML, HTML, etc.)
- Animation files (Flash, etc.)
- PDF files
The result? We deliver content and documents that match the original, or adapt documents according to the needs of our customers.
